Delivery is available for orders over $25.
We deliver to over 124 zip codes in the Baltimore and surrounding areas Monday thru Saturdays. Like most companies we charge a delivery fee for our delivery service. Some companies offer free delivery, but keep in mind the delivery fee is added into the price of the product so you do not see it. In most cases, we can provide same day delivery provided the orders are placed according to the guidelines suggested below. We will do Am deliveries, but most of our deliveries are made between 1pm and 4pm. We give priority to funeral homes and to business deliveries. If you need a specific time, it is best to call the shop to confirm that your request can be met.
Our local delivery fee for the Essex Area (21221) is $6.00 for each order at each address. Delivery fees for orders placed outside of the Essex Area vary by zip code and range from $7.00 to $16.00. Our fee for placing orders to areas outside of our delivery area (out-of-town orders) is $7.00 plus delivery. Orders placed for delivery in the Essex Area (21221) need to be received by 12:00 noon for same day delivery. Orders for local funeral homes need to be received by 2:00 pm for same day delivery. For same day delivery outside of the Essex Area, orders need to be received by 10:30 am. Orders received after that time may be delivered the following day.
On Sundays, we deliver to funeral homes in the Essex Area only. Orders for Sunday delivery to local funeral homes must be received by 1 pm Saturday. All other deliveries requested on this day will be delivered the following business day. Delivery of orders to rural route addresses & cemeteries cannot be guaranteed.

At Essex Florist & Greenhouses, Inc. our desire is to provide you with excellent service and unique floral designs. However, like you, we are not perfect. If for any reason you are not satisfied with you product, you are entitled to a full refund after the return of your product within 48 hours or you are entitled to a re-delivery of your product at the soonest available opportunity.

To purchase a product:
- First you must utilize the “Add to Cart” or “Buy now” buttons to place an item in the shopping basket.
- After a product is added to the shopping basket, you can click the “View or Edit Cart” links to update quantities or remove products from the basket
NOTE: Cart total must be at least 25$ for delivery. Orders under $25 are for in-store pickup only.
- Once you have the products and quantities finalized, you can click the “Checkout” link
- Next, complete the required Billing, Shipping and Payment information.
- Select your payment method to complete transaction.
Once the order has been processed a confirmation email will be sent and the product(s) shipped to the designated address.
While we do our best to keep our inventory well stocked, we do not always have every container and flower shown on this site. Also, if flowers ordered from our growers do not meet our standards of quality, we will not use them. When needed we will substitute flowers and containers so long as we are able to maintain the same style and feeling of your design. In the event we are unable to keep the same style and/or feeling of you selected design, we will contact you with suggestions. Because we want to get your delivery made and delivered according to your specifications, we will call you using the phone number you have provided. If you are unavailable, we will leave a message for you to call us by a certain time. This “time” requirement is the time needed to get your design made and on the delivery truck. If you are unable to get back to us by the cut off time. You may choose to agree with our Substitution Policy by selecting ‘I AGREE’. If you choose to select “I DO NOT AGREE”, then we will NOT make any substitutions without contacting with you first; however, we will not guarantee that we would still be able to meet your delivery date.
