Step One is the drying process, where your flowers are disassembled, inventoried, pretreated, and placed in our drying trays for several weeks. When they come out of the drying trays, each flower is individually cleaned and prepared for preservation and framing! The fee for this service is $175 and is non-refundable.
Step Two is the creation of your keepsake. The cost of this will vary depending upon your selection, but ranges from $300 to $500 on average. It is important to have decided on your keepsake prior to your flowers coming out of our drying trays. We take the flowers out of our drying trays and chemically treat your flowers to achieve preservation. We also, where appropriate, use floral tints to enhance the colors of your flowers. Then we carefully assemble your keepsake. Once complete, we seal the frame so that your final product is air tight.
Remember, Flower Preservation is a two-step process! If you skip the 2nd step, your flowers will not be finished. You will have dried flowers, but you will not have preserved flowers.
In the event you choose to skip step 2 and not have your flower preservation completed by us, your flowers will be returned to you unassembled and unsealed. Once the flowers leave the shop, we will not accept them back.
While your flowers are drying, you will need to select and pay in full for your frame. The cost of preservation and framing is separate from the cost to dry your flowers. You must have this step complete no later than 2 weeks prior to your flowers coming out of drying.
